Ruth and Ron Boogaard’s partnership with Horizon Yachts began in 1993, when Ron and his in-laws travelled to Taiwan to explore nearly twenty shipyards within a week, with the goal of finding a partner that could fulfil their customers’ yachting requests and dreams. After careful consideration, they placed their first order for three new yachts with Horizon Yachts. Since then, more than 220 yachts have been built by Horizon under their guidance.
In 1994, Ruth and Ron relocated to Mallorca and established their own company in Port Andratx, focusing on the sales and service of Horizon Yachts in the Mediterranean. This move laid the foundation for a successful and enduring partnership with Horizon Yachts that has spanned over 30 years.
Today, Ron and his dedicated team continue their close collaboration with the Taiwanese shipyard. Since 2010, Horizon Yacht Europe has served as the brand’s European head office, offering comprehensive sales of new and pre-owned yachts, as well as service and aftersales support to customers across Europe.
With decades of maritime expertise and a deep knowledge of Horizon products, Ron and his team are committed to providing Horizon customers with the highest level of service.
