Horizon FD87 - Hull 10 - Now Available
The brand new FD87 Skyline Hull 10 made its European debut at the fall boat shows, appearing first at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival before turning heads at the Monaco Yacht Show. In early October, this Cor D. Rover-designed Fast Displacement yacht traveled to Spain, to be on display at the Barcelona Boat Show.
Tailored for the European market, this FD87 yacht features an enclosed skylounge configuration and retains the FD Series' signature head-turning exterior that presides atop the proven High Performance Piercing Bow design and hull platform. Hull 10 is among the latest launches in the FD Series, which now includes six models and spans from the FD70 to the FD125.
Offering a five-stateroom layout with an enclosed skylounge on the upper deck, the CE-certified FD87 Skyline hull 10 incorporates superyacht amenities within its voluminous design. Guests are welcomed into the light and airy main deck salon, which spans the 23'3" beam and is highlighted by oak woodwork. Here, an ingenious convertible dining table conveniently folds up into a breakfast bar to maximize space. The forward galley can be separated from the salon via privacy doors and a Hi/Lo island partition while the full-beam master stateroom is situated furthest forward. Four spacious guest staterooms outfitted in elegant Wenge reside on the lower deck while the upper deck features a comfortable enclosed skylounge aft of the helmstation.
The foredeck area aboard the FD87 Skyline hull 10 has been designed with a settee and dinette, a sprawling sunpad, and a "love seat" forward to accommodate not only cocktail hour but sunbathers, as well as those who wish to enjoy the unobstructed views. Aft of the enclosed skylounge on the upper deck, a bar with stools, a dinette and lounging area, and a barbecue invite al fresco relaxation. Visitors to this boat may quickly forget they are on an 90ft LOA yacht, and when they reach the fully equipped beach club, situated just aft of the spacious crew quarters for three, the ingeniousness of the FD Series design will underscore why Horizon has, to date, produced a record 25 FD Series yachts in less than three years.
